AMG Structural Engineers provide clients with information needed about their buildings to make sound economic decisions.  The engineering design practice focuses on existing building renovations, seismic upgrades, residential additions, and structural repairs.  Our consulting services include; seismic risk evaluations, structural condition assessments, and seismic upgrade studies.

The firm’s philosophy for delivering design and consulting services is in the understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of different building types and structural systems with knowledge of structural features and details that improve or reduce seismic performance, lateral resistance to wind, and vertical stability under gravity loads.   With an understanding of the structural performance of buildings in prior earthquakes, in the methods of design and analysis used in the engineering of many existing and historic buildings, knowledge of seismic code development in the western United States, and an understanding of current engineering practices that includes performance based engineering; AMG Structural Engineers brings comprehensive engineering knowledge to our client’s renovation and seismic upgrade projects.

Adam Greco founded AMG Structural Engineers in 2011. Adam has a passion for historic and high-rise buildings that began in New York where he started his professional engineering career. Adam’s interest and knowledge of seismic design grew over the past three decades; during his engineering education at The Cooper Union, graduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley, and his engineering development with consulting firms in New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
